Almost Ready To Go / 3rd Time Lucky

Been back in Cherbourg for almost 3 weeks: week one in a hotel; week two on the boat but on dry land; week three on the boat in the water, We are almost ready to leave but are awaiting delivery of a replacement transducer as the one fitted by the the chantier was faulty. We also need to talk to the electrician about the newly fitted leak tester.

Scruffbag and I have been sporting old and very dirty clothing of late as we have worked tirelessly to get the boat in tip top condition.

We have had an enjoyable few weeks despite the hard work and on Tuesday some Swiss friends, Helene and Hanswilly, have invited us for coffee and cakes on their brand new, million euro aluminium Explorer, They too are heading for Cape Verde en route to Brazil so we may meet again before too long. For now we look forward to departure.
